Shelly Trim is a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Technical Advisor for LINKAGES Jamaica. She supports the LINKAGES Jamaica team by providing M&E technical guidance in the development M&E systems including data collection, analysis, and reporting on key output and outcome indicators for the program. Trim works closely with the program team to promote evidence-based programming and provides feedback in relation to targets and the identification and resolution of gaps related to program monitoring with sub-awardees. In addition, she supports building the M&E capacity of partners and staff and improving alignment to Jamaica’s M&E systems.

Trim has experience in program management, research, and monitoring and evaluation in Africa and the Caribbean where she has implemented health research and evaluation activities related to HIV, women’s health, adolescent reproductive health, and family planning. Before joining LINKAGES Jamaica, Trim worked with UNDP Jamaica as an M&E Programme Analyst and was Chair of the UN Monitoring and Evaluation Working Group.

Trim holds a Doctor of Public Health degree (DrPH) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Maternal Child Health and Epidemiology from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
