Sarah Muthler

Sarah Muthler was the Former the Interim Managing Editor of R&E Search for Evidence. She is a technical writer and editor in the Research Utilization unit at FHI 360, where she produces technical briefs, success stories, reports, and blog posts in collaboration with project teams to highlight and disseminate their work for local and international audiences.

Previous Experience

Before joining FHI 360, Muthler was a graduate research assistant at the Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute and UNC Family Medicine, where she collected quantitative and qualitative data for mixed-methods research. She previously worked as a freelance journalist covering public health, with a focus on maternal health, for national media outlets and nonprofits, and as a copy editor at the Austin American-Stateman.

She has an MPH in Maternal and Child Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MS in Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
