Michele Lanham is a Senior Technical Officer on the Research Utilization team at FHI 360. She is a global health specialist with 14 years’ experience in mixed methods research, research dissemination and utilization, and gender integration.

Lanham has demonstrated technical expertise in gender, male engagement in women’s health, health communications, and new HIV prevention technologies, including pre-exposure prophylaxis and voluntary medical male circumcision. Her skills include gender analysis, project leadership, proposal writing, study development and implementation, staff training and management, technical assistance, capacity building, qualitative data analysis and reporting, research utilization, and stakeholder engagement. She has worked in more than a dozen countries across Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean.

Lanham holds a Master of Public Health from the Gillings School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
