Tessa Ahner-McHaffie

Former Technical Officer

Tessa Ahner-McHaffie was a Technical Officer in the Integrated Development and Crisis Response team at FHI 360. She provided technical support to the Integrated Development department as well as multi-sector projects throughout the organization, documented the portfolio of integrated projects at FHI 360, and worked to support the utilization and exploration of evaluation methods best suited for complex, multi-sector projects.

Before joining FHI 360, Ahner-McHaffie worked as a research assistant supporting the development of gender-sensitive HIV/AIDS policies and PMTCT evaluations in sub-Saharan Africa. She has also completed a master’s thesis on how economic strengthening programs measure HIV/AIDS outcomes.

Ahner-McHaffie has a BS in Public Health and a MPH in Program Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation, both from the George Washington University.
