Tara Miller is a Technical Officer for Research Utilization (RU) at FHI 360 and supports the application of RU strategy into projects across many technical areas, including HIV, family planning, and integrated development. Her roles include knowledge management, communications, programmatic technical support, and writing and editing technical documents.
Before joining FHI 360, Miller served as a research assistant at the University of South Florida and moved to Malaysia for her field practicum to support a small community-based NGO with activities related to HIV prevention, care, and treatment for key populations. She also worked as a Disease Intervention Specialist for four years with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services where she provided post-test counseling, partner elicitation, testing and linkage to care for high-risk individuals in rural counties.
