Manisha Shrestha
Nutrition Specialist
Manisha Shrestha is a Nutrition Specialist for the Suaahara II Good Nutrition Project in Nepal at FHI 360. She provides technical assistance on the nutrition assessment counseling and support and integrated management of acute malnutrition components of the project. In her role, Shrestha develops training manuals, facilitates training sessions, provides onsite coaching and mentoring to health care workers, and facilitates review meetings to strengthen nutrition services in the project districts.
Prior to joining FHI 360, Shrestha worked as a research consultant for the SPRING project. She supported the development of in-depth interviews and key informant interview guidelines for different line ministries under the multisector nutrition portfolio, conducted interviews with the government stakeholders, reviewed and finalized the transcription, and supported the team in writing the final report. She also worked for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) as a nutrition technical officer. She has experience working as an operation specialist in the World Bank, Nepal country office.
Shrestha holds an MPH from the B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
