Louis Masankha Banda
Louis Masankha Banda, MSc, is a biostatistician by training with over 10 years’ experience in public health including project management, operations research, and monitoring and evaluation. He currently works as a senior monitoring and evaluation advisor for the Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) project at the FHI 360 Malawi Country Office. EpiC is a flagship HIV program targeting key populations in Malawi. He provides overall monitoring and evaluation and operations research technical leadership on key population programs to various implementing partners and stakeholders in the country – including the Ministry of Health and its departments such as the National AIDS Commission and the Department of HIV and AIDS. Previously he worked with various international nongovernmental organizations, implementing projects funded by the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, USAID, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the United Nations Development Program.
