Jessica Baker is Communications Specialist at FHI 360’s National Institute for Work and Learning. In her role, she manages communications for the GE Foundation’s Next Engineers program, which aims to increase the diversity of young people entering engineering fields. She does this by collaborating with corporate and non-profit partners, providing partners with communication guides and toolkits, highlighting Next Engineers local stories, and developing Next Engineers’ global narrative. Jessica brings over eight years of non-profit communication experience to her position at FHI 360, with a focus on science and engineering education. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English & Creative Writing, a Master of Arts in American Studies, and a Master of Public Health in Global Health. Jessica is based in Washington, D.C., where she enjoys visiting the Smithsonians and gardening.
