Ezlie Perez is a Program Intern for the WASH Division at FHI 360. In her role, she assists with research and program activities for the Global Handwashing Partnership, a public-private partnership for hand hygiene programming.
Beyond her role at FHI 360, she also works as a research assistant at the Lombardi Cancer Center, where she assists in nanomedicine research aimed at ameliorating cancer treatments. Before joining FHI 360, Perez interned with Fundación Infant where she explored Respiratory Syncytial Virus among low-income pediatric patients.
Perez will earn her Bachelor of Science in Global Health from Georgetown University in May 2021. After graduation, she hopes to attend medical school to further her aspirations of becoming a pediatrician. Her interests include maternal and child health and mental health.
