Dr. Elizabeth Adelman is a Technical Advisor within the Research and Evaluation Department in the Global Education, Employment and Engagement Business Unit at FHI 360. She leads monitoring, evaluation and learning activities for education programs targeting children and youth in settings around the globe. She is trained as a qualitative researcher and has led a wide range of studies, from exploratory and implementation research to impact and cost-effectiveness evaluations. Elizabeth has over 15 years of experience working in international education and development in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East with expertise in the areas of early grade literacy, teacher wellbeing and development, post-secondary education and the provision of education in fragile and conflict-affected settings. Elizabeth earned her EdD in Education Policy, Leadership and Instructional Practice and her MA in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
