Aarin Palomares is a Program Officer for water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) at FHI 360 and serves as Deputy Director of the Global Handwashing Partnership, a coalition of international organizations with a secretariat housed by FHI 360. She leads the Partnership’s strategy in advocacy and dissemination of best practices around hand hygiene in different contexts.

Palomares has a background in health policy, community development and implementation research. Prior to joining FHI 360, Palomares worked on research and advocacy initiatives with the Sparkman Center for Global Health and the United Nations Foundation. She holds an MPH in Health Care Organization and Policy and BS in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
