Aarin Palomares is the Advocacy Technical Officer of the Global Handwashing Partnership, a coalition of international organizations with a secretariat housed by FHI 360. She supports the Partnership’s advocacy strategy by developing tools and policy briefs, managing external communications, and coordinating with multi-sector stakeholders.
Palomares has a background in health policy, community development, and implementation research. She is also a fellow for the 2018/2019 Global Heath Corps cohort, a leadership development program focused on global health and health equity.
Prior to joining FHI 360, Palomares worked on research and advocacy initiatives with the Sparkman Center for Global Health and the United Nations Foundation. She holds an MPH in Health Care Organization and Policy and BS in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
