Margaret Eichleay is a Research Associate III in the Health Services Division at FHI 360 where she researches the behavioral and structural aspects of health care. She has 12 years of experience analyzing data, coordinating studies, and dreaming in SAS code.

Eichleay’s current interests are in the ethics of using drones for development and improving access to health services. Past projects have included conducting impact evaluations of health programs, understanding financial incentives to health service provision, quantifying zoonotic disease transmission risk, and evaluating client outcomes to identify best clinical practices.

Before FHI 360, Eichleay worked on chronic kidney disease, dengue fever, and a dude ranch. She co-owns a campground and outdoor recreation venue in North Carolina and has a passion for the Portuguese language.

Eichleay has an MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
