Lara M.J. Lorenzetti is an Associate Scientist in the Behavioral, Epidemiological, and Clinical Sciences Division at FHI 360. Under the Accelerating Strategies for Practical Innovation and Research in Economic Strengthening (ASPIRES) project, Lorenzetti is co-principal investigator on two studies working to develop and evaluate economic strengthening interventions for improving adherence to ART treatment for HIV-positive patients. She is responsible for the design and implementation of mixed-methods studies and has experience with systematic reviews, program evaluation, econometric methods, qualitative approaches, and policy analysis. Her research interests include integrated approaches that improve the health and economic well-being of vulnerable households, with an emphasis on gender equality, social inclusion, and empowerment.

Prior to joining FHI 360, Lorenzetti worked on various USAID-funded projects that promoted improved health policy, financing, governance, and evaluation. She holds a doctorate in Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
