Celeste Carano

Former Research Intern

Celeste Carano was a Research Intern in the Education Policy and Data Center at FHI 360. She supported research and evaluation work for EPDC as well as the Research and Evaluation team in the Global Education division.

Previous experience

Before joining FHI 360, Carano worked with Teach For All on expanding their network into new countries, and with More Than Me, a girls education and empowerment NGO in Liberia, where she supported their program development and fundraising strategy. She has also worked on an evaluation for a leadership training program for principals in urban U.S. schools, researched the use of data and evidence to inform policymaking in Ghana and Kenya, and supported a randomized control trial on learning in low-cost private schools in Kenya.

Carano has a Bachelors (B.A.) in International Affairs from George Washington University and a Master of Science in Global Human Development from Georgetown University.
